About this model

Hoonipigasus is a custom-built Porsche 911 that was created by professional rally driver and Gymkhana star Ken Block and his team, Hoonigan Racing. The car was specifically designed to compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a famous race that takes place in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.

The name “Hoonipigasus” is a play on the word “hoon” (a slang term used to describe reckless driving) and “Pegasus” (a mythical winged horse). The car features a distinctive livery, with a matte black and gold color scheme, along with custom bodywork and a large rear wing.

Under the hood, the Hoonipigasus is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, which produces over 900 horsepower. The car also features a custom all-wheel-drive system, which helps it to put down the power more effectively.

Ken Block and the Hoonigan Racing team entered the Hoonipigasus in the 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where it competed in the Time Attack 1 class. Despite facing stiff competition from other high-powered race cars, Block was able to pilot the Hoonipigasus to a third-place finish in his class.

Overall, the Hoonipigasus is an impressive feat of engineering and a testament to Ken Block’s skills as a driver and car builder.
