The Dallara DW12 IR18 is a single-seat race car developed by Dallara Automobili for use in the IndyCar Series, an American open-wheel racing championship. The car was introduced in 2012 and is still used in 2023. The IR18 designation refers to the car’s chassis, which was updated for the 2018 season with changes aimed at improving aerodynamics and safety. The DW12 features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and is powered by a 2.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine.
