About this model

Just add your livery and render, it’s that easy.

The second-generation Ford Mustang V8 Supercar was developed by Ford Performance Racing (FPR) and DJR team Penske in Australia in partnership with Ford Performance in the United States. It made its debut in the 2019 Australian V8 Supercars Championship season and was used until the end of the 2022 season.

The Mustang V8 Supercar was built on the Ford Mustang platform and featured a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that produced around 650 horsepower. The engine was mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox for lightning-fast gear changes.

The car featured a carbon fiber body and a bespoke chassis that was designed and built by FPR. It also featured a multi-link rear suspension and a double wishbone front suspension for optimal handling and performance.

One of the defining features of the Mustang V8 Supercar was its aerodynamic package. The car featured a large rear wing and a front splitter that worked together to generate significant downforce, allowing the car to corner at high speeds.

Overall, the second-generation Ford Mustang V8 Supercar was a highly competitive and successful race car, winning numerous races and championships in the Australian V8 Supercars Championship over its five-year lifespan.
