The Nismo GT-R GT3 is a racing car developed by Nissan’s motorsport division, Nismo, specifically for the FIA GT3 class of racing. The car is based on the Nissan GT-R sports car and features a number of modifications to make it suitable for racing.
The Nismo GT-R GT3 features a modified version of the standard GT-R’s 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces around 600 horsepower, which is paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox. The car has a top speed of around 280 km/h (174 mph) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in around 3 seconds.
The car’s aerodynamics have been extensively revised, with a front splitter, rear wing, and side skirts added to improve downforce and reduce drag. The suspension has also been upgraded with adjustable dampers and race-specification springs.
The Nismo GT-R GT3 has enjoyed considerable success in motorsport, with wins in major endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Dubai, the Bathurst 12 Hour, and the Spa 24 Hours. The car has also been entered in the Blancpain GT Series, Super GT, and the FIA GT World Cup.
